Peregrine nest in Woking

Peregrines are again nesting on a tall building in the centre of Woking, four eggs have been laid and are being incubated. This year there are three cameras accessible online, in addition to the main one in the nest box, there are two more showing the areas in which they are active. On 22nd March 2017 ITV London visited and filmed them.

GEF was heavily involved in managing the project to install the nest box for peregrine falcons last year. Since then Woking Council have been increasingly active in supporting the project. The box was fitted in January 2016 and two young were successfully reared. See:  www.wokingperegrines.com
